Depends on the tier. On the entry-level build, updates go through me, so nothing ever looks half-finished, and nobody can accidentally break it at 9pm. Send me the change and it's live within a day or two. Custom builds come with a proper content editor for the things that change often; text, images, prices, project etc while the layout and structure stay locked in, so the site keeps working the way it was designed to.
